Drivers Education

River Valley is excited to be adding driver's education courses back to the high school starting with the 2024-25 school year. This is possible through a partnership between the district and the MOVESC Driving School as part of a grant from the State of Ohio. As part of this consortium, the district was able to use $20,000 in grant funds toward a driver’s education vehicle and training. We would like to extend a special thank you to McDaniel Toyota and Rob Knight for their help in securing a Toyota Corolla for this program.

New for the 2025-26 School Year

Due to the growing demand of our in-school driver's education program we have trained two additional instructors and purchased a second vehicle.  Our second vehicle was made possible utilizing the new Permanent Improvement Fund and was purchased with the assistance of Tom Weston from Mathew's Honda.
